The Salon
Located in a small quiet village Cleadon, Sunderland, our salon is the perfect place to sit back relax and have all your hair and beauty needs taking care of by our qualified team of stylists with over 35 years of combined experience, we work with high quality brands such as L'Oreal Professionel, GHD, Hair Rehab LDN, Beauty Works and more.
Salon owner Claire just over 20 years ago, achieved her dream and qualified as a hairdresser. Over the years she worked for various salon groups and continued to grow and develop her skills. Teaching and education were a huge part of her career working for L’Oréal Professionnel, and achieving her Colour Specialist Degree.
Claire opened her first Hair & Beauty salon in 2015 and now is the proud owner of No.47 Hair Salon.

MEET THE TEAM
Claire
Salon Owner
Claire has 5 children and has been hairdressing for over 20 years. Qualified with a colour specialist degree from L'Oreal Professionnel, Claire combines her love of hairdressing with her passion in salon management. Colour change & balayage are Claire's favourite services and she loves to be in the salon daily with clients and training her team.
Mia
Stylist
Mia has been working in the salon for 2 years and enjoys all aspects of hairdressing. Mia loves all things color and has a passion for highlights and balayage. Additionally, as a gents stylist and barber, Mia enjoys cutting and styling men's hair too.
Chloe
Junior Stylist
Chloe has been with the team for 2 years and is about to graduate from her college course. As she completes her apprenticeship, Chloe is taking a more active role in the salon, assisting with more hair coloring, blow-drying, as well as perming and hair extensions. Building her own clientele and perfecting her skills are Chloe’s main focus now as she finishes her end assessments.
